This attractive old pub, first licensed in 1672, sits adjacent to the historic St James' Priory and was originally its chapel.
The sensitively decorated exterior leads into a simple one room bar with black and white squared tiles by the bar, and dark wood furnishing throughout. Three handpumps dispense beer principally from the Greene King range.
A popular stop for users of the bus station, for shoppers from Broadmead, and handy for Bristol's hospital district.
